| With Leaf's approval, I've begun to use my recoloring talents to make the game true to its style. Before we get into a list of the Pokemon I've done, though, let me just say one thing: Wouldn't it make more sense to group Sinnoh with Unova and have Hoenn by itself? Because Sinnoh and Unova are the sprites that need to be edited. Alright, here's what I do. Sprites are courtesy of Spriter's Resource. Thanks, you guys. Except for you, Jefelin, sneakily modifying all the normal sprites. #494: Victini

Gen V starters comin' up, but I wish you'd told me that a little sooner! OP has been updated with Tympole. He was a bit of a tricky one; the guy at TsR had shortened the tail on the front sprites. I caught on, though, because he forgot to do the same for Shiny. I confirmed my suspicion using Serebii, and quickly fixed the sprites.

| Make it so the sprites, facing back, should be cut off at the bottom. Like this And it'll be notice able that only the Unova Pokemon are missing that. | |

Like this
And it'll be notice able that only the Unova Pokemon are missing that. I would, and I probably will, but...here's my mood towards this project right now. "Leaf's the boss. Leaf's opinion matters the most. Don't do anything Leaf didn't tell you to do." OP has been updated with Snivy. It took a while to find colors that fit well, so BE HAPPY DAMMIT I hope you enjoy it.

| Actually, you will have to redo all the backsprites, The reason is because the backsprites that are cut are also closer to the screen. B&W sprites are the same length away during most of the battle. | |

"Leaf's the boss. Leaf's opinion matters the most. Don't do anything Leaf didn't tell you to do." OP has been--well, is about to be--updated with Oshawott. He's a little discolored IMO, but I think it'll work. This completes the Gen V starters--or at least their first evolutions.

| I can tell the difference, but that's probably because I made it. It's hard to make 'em look different when their main color is white! If you look at their body, you'll notice they're a little greener. The shell's brighter, too, but overall, Oshawott was pretty accurate--or at least Normal Oshawott was. | |

| Why are there four sprites of each?
You just need on normal front, one normal back, one shiny front, and one shiny back.

| Look, cut the backs of the Pokemon or I'm going to lock this.
You have an hour to cut at least two of their back sprites.
Look at Charizard for help.

| My, my, folks, no need to raise a riot over Gen V! Don't we do that enough already? I've just been waiting for Leaf to tell me this entire time!
I've "fixed" the starter's back sprites, and are about to add them to the main page.

I suppose I can't argue with that. Just to be absolutely sure, this is the kind of thing you want?

| The OP has been updated with Victini. I'm beginning to fall into a pattern here; if I have consistent PC access, you should receive at least one new one every day. I don't feel very rushed; Unova is the last region!
Also, a bit of an afterthought...would having transparent backgrounds on these guys help?
