shiny pokemon.

can you make it to where the chance of finding a shiny pokemon is greater. whenever i played a pokemon game i could never find one. except once. i found a shiny tediursa, if memory serves it was green.

but That's what makes finding a shiny so cool

We don't exactly know how were going to make the pokemon random just yet.

i didn't say make them super easy to find i just said increase the chances a little bit.

We won't even TRY to add shinies until we code regular random Pokemon.

On the note of Shinies and making them easier, I'd say make them slightly easier to find in the region they originated (e.g. higher chance of finding shiny Pikachu in Kanto) . For the record, the chance of encountering a Shiny is 1 in about 8,200 (THIS IS NOT AN EXACT NUMBER) .

Of course, don't deal with Shinies until you've got normal encounters set up.

Red Gyarados being the only exception, I doubt we'll have any shinies in the game until the near end. Not like it would make a difference, it's impossible to find them anyway.

I don't even see what's so big about shinnies, they get a lot of unnecessary hype.
Some look cool, but it makes no difference, it's not like there any stronger.
